Axcelle Campana

Associate, Environmental Justice Practitioner

Axcelle envisions a future where all people have access to a healthy environment, clean water and air, nature, and nutritious food. He bridges technical demographic and geospatial analysis with lived experiences and community-based research to highlight salient disparities, inform public engagement, and develop actionable strategies. His career has focused on capacity building and leadership development within communities of color, rectifying “wicked” problems rooted in historical and present-day discrimination, marginalization, and cycles of violence. Axcelle values civic engagement, democratic processes, social solidarity, and collaborative visioning among diverse stakeholder groups to drive transformative change.
