Breaking through boundaries
Designed in conjunction with renovations at Salem Hospital’s Cancer Institute, Knot Studio created outdoor extensions to the interior architecture developed to create a more patient-centered treatment experience. The terrace spaces extend from the interior of the building, creating a contiguous visual connection, new planting and seating areas, and better circulation at the entrance to the building.
