Capturing Opportunity on Urban Campus
Located in the heart of Portland State University, the PSU Oak Savanna parcel provides a much-needed respite from the energetic downtown Portland landscape.
In conjunction with the PSU Open Space planning effort, Knot Studio led student and faculty workshops to gather information and create an informed concept design for one of the few remaining open spaces on the PSU campus. The Oak Savanna design will create outdoor learning opportunities and stitch together adjacent student housing, classroom buildings, PSU’s Community Recreation Field, and a future bike barn & food cart pod.
